September 27-October 3, 2015
This year’s Boston Fashion Week is already off to a great start. Opening with a bang last Sunday night, fashionistas, artists, and designers alike slipped on their tightest jeans and highest heels and headed down to Boston’s Financial District to check out the attractions. 100 Federal street was the unlikely and unexpected home to the festivities. A white washed raw space that will be turned in to offices next week, not only hosted hundreds of party goers on Sunday, but will serve as the perfect blank canvas for events throughout the week. With events ranging from art instillations and fashions shows, to dance performances and mediated talks, the space will come alive with excitement, artistry and innovation. A few events that have already passed include, Downtown by Tracy Aiguier, a private screening of “Origin” By Daniela Conclaves and Brian Torta of Bearwalk Cinema, The Hand of Fashion, and Smart Talk.
Follow the links below to get caught up on the events incase you missed them.
I had the honor of being featured in this film.
Its always a joy and a pleasure to work with Brian Tortora and Daniela Gonclaves of Bearwalk Cinema.

After the film we all headed up to the SIXTH floor for the grand opening. Guests were treated to all kinds of entertainment. Mixed media art presentations, photo displays and even a dramatic contemporary dance performance.

Next up, it was time for local artists, designers, creators and makers to shine! “The Hand Of Fashion” was an event on Monday night featuring Kent Stetson, Dylan Ursher, Shant Serian, Marie Galvin, and ME Chynna Pope! This event highlighted each of our uniques skills in our respective areas of expertise. I showcased my bow ties with The Beacon Hill Bow Tie Club, while others showed chunky knitwear, spectacular hats, and funky imaginative handbags.
I had such a great time meeting and greeting new members and catching up with existing ones. I led a demonstration on how I make my bow ties while my little brother Remington showed visiting men and women alike how to tie their newly purchased bow ties. Every guest was invited to have a seat in our lovely leather arm chair sip vintage whisky and take a picture in the WASPY living room I created. Check out the Pope family portrait we took! (Unfortunately, we are missing my older brother John…he’s a badass…not really in to bow ties)
Next up: SMART TALK!
